Full Disclaimer

Box Seat Jets is a transparent private jet charter brokerage. We act as Agent for Client: we analyse the charter market, source aircraft and help you secure air charter worldwide. We do not own or operate aircraft, and we are not an air carrier.

Who flies you. Every flight arranged through Box Seat Jets is performed by an aircraft operator holding a current FAA Part 135 (or Part 121) air carrier certificate and U.S. DOT economic authority, or the equivalent certificate from a foreign civil aviation authority for flights outside the United States. The operator qualified to perform your charter has operational control of the flight at all times, including crew, aircraft, maintenance, weather and go/no-go decisions, and is responsible for meeting every applicable FAA, DOT and foreign-authority safety standard and requirement.

What we tell you before you commit. Before you accept a quote we identify the operator and, when assigned, the aircraft type and tail number, and we tell you if either changes. On request we provide the operator's certificate details, safety-audit rating and liability insurance coverage.

Our vetting. We offer aircraft only from operators that hold a current certificate, carry liability insurance appropriate to the aircraft, and either hold a third-party safety rating (ARGUS, WYVERN or IS-BAO) or have passed our own review of their most recent audit.

Prices. Estimates on this site are market indications generated from distance and typical category rates. They are not offers. A quote becomes binding only when confirmed in writing by Box Seat Jets with a named operator, and is subject to the operator's and Box Seat Jets's terms, including deposit, payment and cancellation provisions stated on the quote. Federal excise tax and segment fees apply to retail domestic air transportation and are shown on the quote where they apply.

Liability. The operator's liability is governed by its contract of carriage and applicable law. Box Seat Jets's liability as agent is limited to the fee it receives for arranging the flight.

Complaints. Write to us at the phone number on this site, or contact the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of Aviation Consumer Protection.
